The Olumia Life Sleep plan is designed to help you get the most out the time you spend resting. For most people, it’s best to get 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night, so 7 to 9 hours is what you’re aiming for. Logging your sleep and improving your sleep habits will earn you points towards your weekly goal.
There are a couple ways to help yourself get that much quality sleep. First is following a regular routine before bed each night. This includes relaxing for an hour or so by reading, listening to music or doing something else you enjoy rather than doing stressful activities. You know, chill out.
There’s also proper sleep hygiene, which covers quite a few things, such as how your bed should only be used for sleeping and sex. Stay out of there otherwise. Your bedroom should also be a cool temperature, quiet and dark. Avoid bright devices before bed as well, like laptops, tablets, smartphones and television because they can disrupt your sleep cycles. Dimming the room lights an hour before bed can also be helpful.
